Step One:
Contact Us
You’ll never know if your idea is doable if you don’t ask. The first step is to tell us about your project: get started by sending an email to info@tsmithandco.com with details about your project or fill out the estimate form on our website. You can also call us at 610-809-0362.
Step Two:
Onsite Visit
We’ll set up an on-site visit by our president, TJ, in order to explore your ideas at the place of your project. For any estimate, it’s essential to meet you in person and see the space. Our estimates are almost always free (estimates based on architectural or design plans may involve fees).
Step THREE:
Initial Estimate & Design
After our discussion about your project ideas and goals for the renovated space we will provide you with an estimate or a budgeted range for your project. If the project is small and straightforward, we'll send you a fixed cost estimate and will communicate with you regarding any questions or changes you’d like to make. Many projects require further design and product selection that can have a significant impact on the total cost of the project and we provide you with a price range that is based on our experience with similar projects.
Most projects do not require a designer or architect, but when they do, we can provide design services to both fit your budget and satisfy your wish list. If you have already worked with an architect or designer, we’ll review the plans you have and provide you with a total cost estimate for your project.
STEP FOUR:
Contract & Initial Agreement
Once you approve of the estimate and decide to move forward with us, we’ll send you a contract that you will need to sign and return with a deposit.
STEP FIVE:
Punch List & Final Payment
When we have completed all contracted work we will clean up and remove all signs of our having been in your home other than your completed renovation. We will give you a few days to soak in your new space and ask you write down any questions or concerns you have regarding the completed work. Once your list is complete (often called a “punch list”) we’ll discuss it, usually on-site. Once you are satisfied, we will collect our final payment and add you to our long and growing list of happy clients.
